Type A Wolff - Parkinson - White syndrome obscured by left bundle branch block associated with a vascular malformation of the coronary sinus KILLIAN ROBINSON

چکیده
A case of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome type A with coexisting ipsilateral bundle branch block is presented. The diagnosis was suspected because of subtle electrocardiographic changes and was confirmed at electrophysiological study. Necropsy showed a vascular anomaly of the coronary sinus that contained bundles ofmyocardial muscle which crossed the atrioventricular ring at a site that was consistent with the predicted accessory pathway.

متن کاملMechanism of reciprocating tachycardia initiated during sinus rhythm in concealed Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome: report of a case.
Reciprocating tachycardia in a patient with a leftsided atrioventricular accessory pathway (AP) (Kent bundle, type A) capable only of ventriculo-atrial (V-A) transmission is described. The V-A AP is established as an essential link of the tachycardia circuit, as evidenced by : 1) retrograde atrial activation of the left atrium (LA) 60 msec or more before the low and high right atrium during rec...
متن کاملAtriofascicular Mahaim with Ebstein anomaly: A case report
We report a case of a 7-year-old girl with atriofascicular Mahaim (AFM) pathway concomitant with Ebstein's anomaly. The QRS wave showed left bundle branch block pattern on electrocardiogram. Holter electrocardiogram showed prolongation of the PR interval and QRS morphological change during sinus tachycardia. An electrophysiological study demonstrated that the distal His potential appeared earli...
متن کاملTransient Left Bundle Branch Block: An Unusual Electrocardiogram in Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy
Transient mid-ventricular ballooning syndrome is a variant form of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TTC). The precipitating factors and clinical course are similar, and the clinical manifestations mimic those of acute coronary syndrome, which are characterized by transient left ventricular dysfunction without significant coronary artery disease. Takotsubo cardiomyopathy with transient left bundle bran...
